Dr. Michelle Dawson Leadership Appointment

Dr. Michelle Dawson, who is an Associate Professor in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry, has recently been appointed as Associate Director for Cancer Research Training and Education at the Legorreta Cancer Center.

In her new role, Dr. Dawson will be responsible for the oversight of the educational and training programming of the Cancer Center. This role encompasses education and training on various levels, ranging from K-12 to postgraduate environments, in order to better enrich a cancer-specific training program and encourage the emergence of cancer researchers at all levels.
